Anker wireless charger no blue light is the most common problem with Anker wireless chargers, so don’t worry about it. I was also struggling with the same problem for the last two weeks. 

But I researched on it what the main problem was and fixed it. I think it should also work for you.

How to fix Anker wireless charger no blue light?

Anker Wireless Charger No Blue Light

First, you must understand the blue light in the Anker wireless charger. 

A solid blue light means your device is charging, but a blinking blue light means obstruction or metallic interference between your device and the charger. 

Here are some quick fixes

  • Use a small piece of cloth between the charger and your device
  • Clean your Anker wireless charger
  • Use original wall adopter
  • Use the original USB charging cable
  • Restart your device before charging
  • Force reset your device

Wall plug

Wall plug may affect the charging process of the Anker wireless charger. So you need to check your Anker wireless charger with all wall plugs in your house. 

It may work because the wall plug should be compatible (IQ3 quick charge wall plug) with your Anker wireless charger. 

It doesn’t matter if you use the original USB charging cable or original adapter; you have an Anker-friendly wall plug to charge your devices.

Charging cable and adapter

Maybe the charging cable you use with your Anker wireless charger doesn’t support your charger. 

Try to use some other USB charging cables with the same adapter. 

But if your Anker wireless charger is still not showing solid blue light, you must try another adapter. 

Ensure the AC adapter you use with your Anker wireless charger has an output of 2A or more. Otherwise, your Anker wireless charger will not work. 

Try these steps 

  • Try some other USB charging cable with the same adapter
  • Try some different AC adapters having the output of 2A or more with the same USB charging cable 
  • Try to change both the USB charging cable and adapter

Metal attachment

Check your device case; if there is anything of metal present in the case, your Anker wireless charger charging process will stop and start blinking blue light instead of solid blue light.

If you have to insert anything in your mobile case, open the case and remove it from your mobile and then try to charge your device.

Be sure that there is no attachment of any type of metallic item with your device before charging with Anker wireless charger. 

Metallic device

As earlier, we discussed that metallic attachment might interrupt the charging process of your Anker wireless charger with no blue light. 

So check if your device body is made of any metal material blinking blue light on your Anker wireless charger will appear. 

But you can quickly fix it using a microfiber glass cleaner cloth between your device and Anker wireless charger.

 It will help you, and your problem will be solved.

Overheating Charger

If you use your Anker wireless charger roughly and it stays plugged in for over a day and more, it will be overheated and will stop working, having no blue light.

You must unplug your Anker wireless charger and place it at almost room temperature. 

Please don’t use it until it cools down to room temperature. 

Now plug it on and try to charge your device. If it works for you, don’t forget to unplug your Anker wireless charger after charging your device.

Clean Anker Wireless Charger 

Maybe a little bit of dirt is on the surface of your Anker wireless charger, due to which blue light blinks when you place your device on the charger. 

Therefore first, clean the charger with a microfibre glass cleaning cloth. 

After cleaning, the blue light of your Anker wireless charger will flash solid blue, and it will start working.

Restart your device

If your Anker wireless charger still has no blue light, try to restart your device. 

Here is how to restart your device.

  • Long press the power button until the power menu appears on your device screen
  • There will be two options “Restart” and “Power Off.”
  • Click on the “Restart” button and leave it for a minute
  • Your device will automatically turn off and turn on back 
  • Now your device is ready to use. Let’s try to charge it with your Anker wireless charger and see how is the blue light turning on or blinking. It works for most people.

Hard Reset

If restarting the device doesn’t work, try to hard reset your iPhone. 

Here are a few steps to hard reset your iPhone.

  • Press and fastly release the volume up button
  • Press and fastly release the volume down button 
  • Press the side button till the Apple logo appears

Blinking Blue Light

If your Anker wireless charger blinks blue light, it means a metallic interference between your device and the charger. So remove the interference between the charger and mobile to fix the problem.

Solid Blue Light

A solid blue light on your Anker wireless charger means your device begins to charge.

Flashing Green Light

If your Anker wireless charger flashes green light then it means you have connected it with an incompatible power adapter or USB charging cable.

Solid Blue Light for 3 seconds, then Off

If your Anker wireless charger flashes solid blue light for 3 seconds, then off it means your charger is perfectly connected to the power source.
