These are a few possible solutions that you can try to resolve your Dahua camera that isn’t displaying.

Check Power Supply

If the camera system isn’t getting sufficient power of data it will never display on DVR/ NVR. so, you should check the all power and data cables connected to the camera.

Also, you can check the power source using a voltage meter checker to ensure it provides proper power.

You can also use another power source to power up your camera and get it working back perfectly.

Check the Cable

You should also check the cables you are using to connect the camera system. Because a faulty wire might be the reason for your camera to not display.

There are limitations of wire length that can cause the video feed or loose connection error.

Reset the Camera

Another reason for your camera display problem will be a software malfunction which you can resolve by performing a factory reset.

Resetting the camera is a method to restore it back to its factory default settings. Also, a factory reset will remove the software bugs/glitches and resolve the problem.

Here are steps you can reset your Dahua camera:

1. Log in to your NVR

2. And then go to the Main Menu.

3. Click on the Advanced option.

4. And select the Restore option.

5. Select all and then tap Ok.

Change Video Resolution

Sometimes the video settings might be changed while you are playing with your camera settings or customized to incompatible by default.

1. log in to NVR and then go to the Settings page.

2. At the settings page select ENCODE mode.

3. Select the right channel.

4. From here you should reduce camera resolution and bit rate.
