Rotate With App

If you want to use the rotation feature on your stick up cam, ensure that you have a tilt mount for your Ring outdoor cam.

With this mount package, you can plug the camera outdoors in any kind of weather and monitor your house better with 360Ā° rotation.

And this mounting bracket requires a connection with a standard indoor/outdoor standard wall plug. Either, you can buy a battery pack instead of the adapter.

Here are steps to connect the camera to the tilt mount:

  1. Bring your Ring stick up cam, remove the mount and then the battery.
  2. Then insert the pan cam-tilt mount and battery into the stick-up cam battery compartment.
  3. Plug the power adapter into the tilt mount and the other end into the power outlet.
  4. Next, open the Ring app on your phone; it will ask you to ā€œswitch wired modeā€ you can tap on it.
  5. Due to changing the camera mode, youā€™ve to set up the camera again.
  6. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts until set up finishes.
  7. It will ask you to test the rotation your self whether it is working.
