Sony Camera Not Charging (11 Ways to Fix)

  • Check the micro USB cable to see if it is working proper 
  • Ensure the USB ports on your computer are not faulty 
  • Turn your computer on if it is in sleep mode; it stops providing the current 
  • Use an AC adapter instead of the computer 
  • Check and fix your power source 
  • Unplug and replug the camera into the charger 
  • If the device heats up, wait until the temperature cools down 

Turn Off Camera 

If you have plugged your camera into a computer’s USB port, you should turn it off to charge from here. Because while the camera is on, the USB file transfer mode will turn on.

So, to fix the charging, you should check if the camera is powered on; you should turn it off instantly. 

While the camera is in power-off mode, the files transfer feature is automatically disabled and will start charging. 

Ensure It is Not 100% Charged

Check Power Source
