Samsung Wireless Charger Not Fast Charging (Fixed)

Fast charging is the best feature to save time while charging your device. If your Samsung wireless charger is not fast charging, don’t worry about that; it is a common problem. I have some fixes for you to fix this problem; let’s take a look at it.

How to fix Samsung wireless charger, not fast charging?

Here are some quick fixes; try them first.

Place your device in the center of the charging pad
Check there should be no outside interference
Use an approved fast charging adapter having an output of 12W and a USB cord
Clean your charging pad every time before use

Wall Plug / Socket

Make sure that the wall plug you use for charging is giving enough power to the adapter, USB cable, and finally to the charging pad. Sometimes wall plugs are used in homes with low power voltage, which may not work properly.

As you know, wireless charging is slower than wired charging, so if the wall plug is not supplying enough power to the changing pad, fast charging may affect.

Try to use some other wall plugs/sockets in your house with your Samsung wireless charger, which is suitable for it.

If you find a suitable wall plug, then always use that plug with your charger.

Does your device support fast charging?

Be sure that your device is compatible with fast charging. Almost all old devices do not support fast charging.

Tap on Settings
Tap on the battery or device care option
Then tap on fast wireless charging and enable it

Adapter and USB charging cable

If the above fixes do not work for you, then it’s time to check your charging adopter USB charging cable you are using with your Samsung wireless charger.

Because wireless charging needs more power to charge your device fastly than wired charging, try to use some other wall adapter with your Samsung wireless charger.

Always use an adapter approved for fast charging or supports fast charging and has an output of almost 12W. The same thing with the USB charging cable comes with the ordinary adapter supplies less power than the charging cable with the fast charging adapter.

If your adapter is of low power, then replace it with some other from the market and use it with the Samsung wireless charger.

Clean charging pad

Dirt on the back of your mobile phone or the charging pad of your Samsung wireless charger can interrupt the fast charging process.

As you know, wireless charging is based on magnetic induction and is slower than wired charging, so a little bit of dirt can affects the efficiency of fast charging of Samsung wireless chargers.

Try to clean the surface of the charging pad and your mobile phone back with a small piece of cloth.

You may also use a toothpick or needle to remove dirt from Samsung wireless charging pad and your mobile phone surface.

Is your mobile up to date?

Make sure your mobile or device you are trying to charge fastly with Samsung wireless charger is up to date. If your device software is not updated fast charging will not work for you. You need to update your device and then try to charge it.

Tap on the settings
Tap on software update
Tap on download and install it

Enable power-saving mode

In most Samsung products power saving mode is present which helps to stop the useless apps from drainage battery power.

So try to stop those apps or temporarily uninstall them to check if they are interrupting fast charging or not. You may simply enable power-saving mode before charging your device with Samsung wireless charger.

It will stop the apps in the background to drain battery power and your device will charge fastly.

Turn off mobile data or wifi

If your mobile data or wifi connection is on during charging it may also affect the fast charging of your Samsung wireless charger. Because you know that if mobile data is on then some of the apps you have used also run in the background and they drain power from the battery at the same time when the battery is getting power from Samsung wireless charger.
