Back-Up Videos

If you are using Blink cloud storage, you should download essential videos from your account before deleting your Blink account.

If you store data on local storage, you can access the data by connecting it to your Sync Module. However, you can download videos from the Blink app by following the below steps:

1. Open the Blink app on your smartphone.

2. Click on the “Folder” icon at the top of the right corner.

3. Then click on the video you want to download.

4. Next, tap on the share icon.

5. Click the save button, and the video will be saved to your smartphone or another device you are using.

Delete Camera

After downloading your videos from the Blink account, the next step is to delete all the cameras linked to the account.

Doing so will help to remove them from your account and then set up to another account from the start over.

Here is how you can delete your Blink camera:

1. Launch the app on your phone.

2. Click on the Settings icon next to your camera.

3. And then select General.

4. Scroll all the way down, and click on Delete Camera.

5. Click Delete again from the popup screen to confirm your choice.

If your camera is offline, the steps will vary from the camera that is online. You can delete the offline camera by following the below steps:

1. From the app home screen, click on the “Camera Offline” notification.

2. On the bottom of the screen, click on Delete Camera.

3. Tap Delete again from the popup screen.

Reset the Camera

If you are going to sell or gift this your camera, you should factory reset it for new users and remove your data.

Locate the reset button from your camera and reset it using the manufacturer’s guidelines. However, if your camera is connected to the Sync Module, you’ll need to reset the Module.

1. Locate the reset button on your Sync Module and press it until the LED indicator on it turns red.

2. Then, release the button and wait for the LED to turn blinking green and blue.

3. And then you can delete the Sync Module from the app as well.

Delete Sync Module

You can follow the below steps to delete your Blink Sync Module from the account:

1. Launch the app and then select a system from which you want to remove it.

2. And then tap on Sync Module from the home screen.

3. Next, click on Delete Sync Module from the bottom of the screen.

4. Then tap Ok from the popup confirmation screen.

5. And using your phone scan the QR code or enter its serial number manually from the bottom of the device.

6. Again, confirm it you want to delete it from the account.

Cancel Subscription

Here is a step-by-step guide on how you can cancel your Blink subscriptions:

1. You can cancel your Blink subscriptions by visiting your membership and subscriptions page. And then select the Plan you want to cancel it.

2. And then select the reason for the cancellation of your plan.

3. Tap the End my subscription now button to cancel the subscriptions.

4. Then you’ll get a renewal date or end now options.

5. You’ll receive a confirmation email once you cancel your plan.

6. Also after canceling your existing subscriptions, you’ll be refunded for any unused portion of it.

Delete Blink Account

In the end, when you’ve done all the processes of deleting the Sync Module camera and canceling the subscription, you can delete your Blink account.

Here is how you can delete your Blink account:

1. Launch the Blink app and then click on the Settings gear from the bottom of the screen.

2. Under the settings, click on Account and Privacy.

3. And then, from the bottom of the screen, select Delete Account.

4. Now, click on “delete” from the popup confirmation.

5. Enter your Blink account password for confirmation.

6. Once done, you’ll receive a confirmation email of account deletion.

How to Add Blink Camera to Account from Start Over

You can set up your Blink camera in the account by following the below steps:

Sync Module

1. Launch the Blink app and click on the + plus icon from the top of the screen.

2. And then select Blink wireless camera system.

3. Create a new system and name it.

4. Scan your Sync Module’s QR code, then tap Discover device.

5. And select your Wi-Fi network, and add the Wi-Fi security key.

6. It will be connected after a few seconds; tap Done.

Blink Camera

1. Click the plus + icon in the Blink app.

2. And select a Blink Wireless Camera.

3. Remove the rear cover from your camera and scan the QR code using your phone.

4. And then select the system to which you want to add your camera to.

5. The camera will be set up successfully after a few seconds.
